HISTORYLeMoyne Realty & Appraisal was founded by Harry LeMoyne in 1953 in Hagerman, Idaho. Harry developed a reputation for selling livestock ranches in southern Idaho and doing complex appraisal assignments of properties involved in litigation. He was the second Accredited Farm & Land Broker designated in Idaho. During the 1960’s the emphasis was on real estate sales. The business was moved to Twin Falls in 1963. Harry developed several subdivisions in Lemhi County as well as in Gooding and Twin Falls Counties. As a testament to his good work Harry has sold several places more than once even up to four times for different owners who were very satisfied. Harry was inducted into the Southern Idaho Livestock Hall of Fame. In 1973 Henri LeMoyne joined the firm after graduating from the University of Idaho. In the 1970’s and 80’s Henri worked on rebuilding the appraisal portion of the business. Professional appraisal designations conferred upon Henri are the ARA (Accredited Rural Appraiser), ASA, rural (American Society of Appraisers) the SRPA (Senior Real Property Appraiser) & the SRA (Senior Residential Appraiser) both of the Appraisal Institute. Henri is also CRE (Counselor of Real Estate) accredited. In 1990 Henri purchased the business from his father and incorporated under LeMoyne Realty & Appraisals, Inc. Over the years LeMoyne Realty & Appraisals, Inc. has been known for doing quality work in rural appraisal with particular emphasis on conservation easement and fish propagation property valuation. Craig Moore joined Henri about 1990 and has become the leading valuation expert in confined animal feeding valuation assignments in southern Idaho. Craig previously worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company as an appraiser and loan officer. In 1995 Henri & Craig began doing the appraisal portion of the business as LeMoyne Appraisal, LLC. In 1998 Brent Stanger joined Craig & Henri as a member of LeMoyne Appraisal, LLC. Brent previously worked as an appraiser with Farm Credit Services and became designated as an ARA. Brent has been active on the national level with the American Society of Farm Managers & Rural Appraisers serving on national committees. In 2003 Sean Brown became a member of LeMoyne Appraisal, LLC. Sean graduated from the University of Idaho and had worked for Headquarters West in Phoenix, Arizona .Sean has been doing farm and ranch appraisals along with recreational property appraisal assignments since coming back to Idaho.
